CRH-Africa (PTY) LTD and subsidiary Adient|PPC company are industry leaders in metals technologies and manufacturing, offering global customer service excellence. CRH-Africa is a leading supplier of world-class metal-pressed components, welded and riveted assemblies. Adient|PPC is an industry expert in metal seat structures, tube bending and various welding methods, including laser welding. CRH-Africa and Adient|PPC are proud BBBEE level 2 contributors with 51% black shareholding.
ABOUT CRH-AFRICA
CRH-Africa has long been a leading supplier known for our complete product development process, materials engineering, tooling/manufacturing expertise
and capability to produce value-added metal pressed components and assemblies distributed locally and exported to Germany, USA, Brazil, Mexico and the Czech Republic.
Founded in 1964 and based in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, CRH-Africa’s
current plant has grown to 17 000m2 with 494 employees.
CRH-Africa is accredited to the IATF16949 QMS and ISO140001 international standards and supports the following tier 1 and OEM customers:

ABOUT CRH KZN
CRH-Africa successfully launched our manufacturing footprint in the KwaZulu-Natal region in August 2024, reinforcing its support for the local automotive sector and advancing deeper localisation efforts.
The new branch is underpinned by the Group’s core competencies in metal pressings, welded assemblies, and an industry-leader in tool and die making.
CRH KZN delivers high-volume, high-quality automotive components and sub-assemblies to both 1st and 2nd tier OEM markets within the region. This strategic expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to growth, localisation, and excellence in the metal pressing industry.

ABOUT ADIENT | PPC
The Adient | PPC plant, a subsidiary of CRH, assembles over 450 000 full metal seat structures for Tier 1 seat assemblers and exports directly to Volkswagen Argentina. The latest technologies, such as laser welding, are employed, and the seat structure assembly lines include full error-proofing of these safety-critical structures.
Adient|PPC has been in operation since 2016, with the Gqeberha plant growing to 16 000m2 with 550 employees

Adient|PPC’s core competencies are its robotic welding of seat structures, laser welding systems, tube bending stations with in-house E-coating capabilities – an approved facility for Ford, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen.
